The protection of personal data relating to children and young people, as well as parents and carers, is extremely important to us. Data protection legislation in the UK is governed by the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
The Brunel Education Data Protection Policy has been developed in line with guidance provided by the Department for Education and the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). The policy is supported by robust procedures to ensure that personal data is handled securely, lawfully and transparently in accordance with current legislation.
