Internet Safety 2025

At Connex we celebrated Internet Safety Week which took place from 10th  February . We worked with or children and young people to identify how they can keep themselves safe whilst using the Internet. This year the theme to Internet Safety Week was 'Too good to be true? – protecting yourself and others from scams online’.

The children and young people worked on building their knowledge on how to stay safe online and recognising when pages might be scam and how to protect themselves. The children and young people recognised that it is easy to fall into a scam and give away too much information about themselves. They have reflected on ways to change this for the future and recognise the importance of telling others when they are unsure of sites and give warnings to their friends and families. They have made posters, and written fact files this week to express what they have learnt this week.
